BROTHER BRIDGE is a shoe brand based in Asakusa, Tokyo.

Using high-quality materials from around the world

with the skilled craftsmanship and advanced technology of artisans,

they create high-quality shoes.

As a collaboration item for the 20th anniversary,

we adopted the Fisherman Sandal,

said to have been worn by European fishermen,

which originated from sandals worn by Gurkha soldiers.

Fisherman sandals are footwear said to have been worn by European fishermen,

Covering the toes and heels increases the fit,

and the woven design provides breathability, making them a unique sandal

for summer.

They can be worn barefoot or with socks.

They also have a moderate weight, and you can feel the difference in comfort

just by walking.

The fabric used is cowhide suede,

specifically thick yet flexible cowhide from Nakamura Sennosuke Co.

 

Since suede contains tannin, it will age and develop a deeper color (sun-tan),

meaning that with repeated wear, the color will change to a unique shade inherent to the leather

that cannot be achieved through dyeing.

By using a durable Vibram sole,

the sandals have increased durability,

allowing them to be worn for many years.

They can be worn not only in the city but also outdoors without any problems.

The color chosen is GRAY SUEDE, which easily matches any pant color.

It pairs well with shorts, cargo pants, and denim,

and by changing the color of your socks,

you can create your own unique style.
